EC Quaker Classic Comes to an End

RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College volleyball team finished the EC Quaker Classic on Saturday.

 

Principia University defeated Earlham 25-18, 25-14, 25-21 Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center before the Quakers fell to Rose-Hulman 25-13, 25-13, 25-15.

 

Elizabeth Ross led the Quakers with seven kills against Principia, while Alicia Kees had nine assists. Aleta Cox led the Quakers with 10 digs and Andrea Thompson had three service aces.

 

Against Rose-Hulman, Nikki Darrett led the way with eight kills. Kees finished with 12 assists and three aces. Cox topped the squad with eight digs.

 

Marian beat Goshen 25-21, 24-26, 25-21, 25-23 to win the championship.

 

The Quakers (0-5) are back in action next weekend at the Swarthmore Tournament in Philadelphia.
