RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College volleyball team celebrated Homecoming on Saturday with a 25-17, 25-14, 25-16 victory over Central State University.
Andrea Thompson (McCordsville, IN, Muncie Burris) and
Jazmyn Corlew (Elyria, OH, Elyria) had six kills apiece to lead the Quakers in the non-conference contest on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.
Callie Kinsey (Richmond, IN, Richmond) and
Sadie Harmeyer (Connersville, IN, Lincoln) each added four kills, while Ashlee Heberger finished with 21 assists.
Thompson, Corlew and Heberger topped the squad with three service aces each. Harmeyer led Earlham with 14 digs and
Kazondra Ramos (Commerce, CA, El Rancho) contributed 12 digs. Kinsey had 10 digs.
"It was great to get a win during Homecoming Weekend," Earlham Head Coach Natalie Alred said. "We are now looking forward to our last conference match next week."
The Quakers (5-20, 0-8 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference) are at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Wednesday. Earlham's final HCAC contest of the fall starts at 7:30 p.m.
