CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. — The Earlham College men's basketball team traveled to Wabash College on Wednesday night and the Quakers fell 70-42 to the Little Giants in a North Coast Athletic Conference contest.
A. J. Sutherlin led the Quakers with 23 points and nine rebounds.
T.J. Ferrick and
Ryan Taylor finished with five points each.
Sutherlin scored the first 19 points in the contest for Earlham as the Quakers trailed 38-21 at halftime.
Taylor hit a basket at the end of the period for Earlham's other score.
In the second half, Sutherlin scored the initial basket to cut the deficit to 38-23, but that was as close as the Quakers could get against the Little Giants (13-6, 8-3).
Earlham (3-17, 1-10) entertains
Denison University on Saturday. The NCAC game on
Schuckman Court in the Athletics and
Wellness Center begins at 3 p.m.
