Box Score GRANVILLE, Ohio — The Earlham College men's soccer team picked up its first win of the season on Tuesday night as the Quakers defeated Denison University 2-0.

The Quakers had a goal in each period at Barclay Thomsen Field. The first came from Lionel Musoni at 33:22. It was the first score of his career.

Ameer Yusuf also found the net for the initial time of his first season at 58:09 with an assist from Irhad Strika.

Denison (2-4) had a 19-13 lead in shots with a 5-3 edge in corner kicks. Earlham goalkeeper Jonah Kreniske had three saves in posting the fifth shutout of his career.

Earlham (1-4) faces Mt. Union College on Saturday at the Wittenberg University Invitational. The non-conference match gets underway at 5 p.m.
