In the second half, Tandy scored the final goal of the contest and the fourth of her career off a corner kick. Joy Doucette was credited with an assist on the play.

“Today's win was great for the team and it's always satisfying having your first win at home,” Earlham Head Coach Jocelyn Keller said. “This past week was spent honing in on our style of play and it was evident in today's match.”

“This win was a great comeback after two tough loses in Pittsburgh,” Keller added. “We look at the next three games as opportunities to get better and prepare for conference play. I'm extremely proud of our efforts to attack today.”

Earlham led 16-6 in shots over Albion (1-6-1) and 9-1 in corner kicks. Goalkeeper Megan Holthaus had three saves for the Quakers.

The Quakers (3-3) visit Wittenberg University on Wednesday. The non-conference match is scheduled for 7 p.m.
