SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — The Earlham College men's soccer team surrendered a goal in each half on Sunday as the Quakers lost 2-0 to Wittenberg University in the finale of the Wittenberg Invitational.
The Tigers (3-3-2) scored at 5:47 and 72:14 as they took advantage of their limited opportunities.
Earlham had an 18-4 advantage in shots and a 4-1 edge in corner kicks. Earlham goalkeeper
Jonah Kreniske did not have a save for the Quakers.
The Quakers (1-6) travel to Oberlin College on Saturday. The battle for the Freedom Trophy begins at 2 p.m.
