Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 DECATUR, Ill. — The Earlham College volleyball squad dropped a pair of matches on Friday night at the Slagell Classic hosted by Millikin University.

Concordia University defeated the Quakers 25-17, 25-18, 25-12 to open the 9-team affair.

In the second match of the evening, Benedictine University-Springfield defeated Earlham 21-25, 25-21, 30-28, 15-25, 15-13 with Sadie Harmeyer (Connersville, IN, Lincoln) missing the contest due to a foot injury.

“We pulled together and played an unbelievable match,” Earlham Head Coach Natalie Alred said.

The Quakers (3-10) continue the event on Saturday. Earlham faces Millikin at noon, while the Quakers end the day against Clarke University at 2 p.m.
