CLEVELAND, Ohio — The
Earlham College men's soccer team dropped its second contest of the season on Saturday as the Quakers fell 3-1 to
Case Western Reserve University.
Case Western (2-0) scored the first goal of the match at 20:18, but the Quakers had a response when
Bannet Asingura found the net at 21:15 to tie the non-conference affair.
In the second half, Case Western scored twice to take control.
The Quakers had a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks, while Case Western led the way in shots 15-5. Earlham goalkeeper
Jonah Kreniske had seven saves.
Earlham (0-2) entertains Ohio Northern University on Wednesday. The non-conference match starts at
5 p.m.
