RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College volleyball squad dropped a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest to Transylvania University on Friday night.

The Pioneers (18-9, 6-1) won the match on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center 25-10, 25-12, 25-14.

Andrea Thompson (McCordsville, IN, Muncie Burris) led the Quakers with six kills, while Meg Huffmeyer (Osgood, Indiana, Jac-Cen-Del) added five kills.

Ashlee Heberger (Fairport, NY, Fairport) topped Earlham with 11 assists. Kazondra Ramos (Commerce, CA, El Rancho) led the Quakers with 11 digs.

The Quakers (3-23, 0-8) face the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology at home on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
