Box Score RICHMOND, Ind. — An early score was the difference on Wednesday as the Earlham College men's soccer team defeated Bluffton University 1-0 on Matlack Field.

Corey Campbell (Mason, OH, Mason) took a pass from Tamru Taye (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Waterford Kamhlaba) and blasted it past Bluffton goalkeeper Dan Saville, who was only able to deflect the ball as it found the back of the net at 2:46.

Earlham led 14-3 in shots and 9-3 in corner kicks in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference affair with the Beavers (0-11, 0-3).

Goalkeeper Chris Marshall (Highland Park, NJ , Highland Park HS) had one save for the Quakers.

The Quakers (2-9, 1-1) visit the College of Mount St. Joseph on Saturday for HCAC match starting at 7:30 p.m.
