HANOVER, Ind. — The Earlham College volleyball squad opened play in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference on Wednesday with a 25-10, 25-11, 25-17 loss at Hanover College.
Andrea Thompson (McCordsville, IN, Muncie Burris) and
Jazmyn Corlew (Elyria, OH, Elyria) led the Quakers with six kills each along with a pair of service aces apiece against the Panthers (8-4, 1-0).
Meg Huffmeyer (Osgood, Indiana, Jac-Cen-Del) added four kills, while
Ashlee Heberger (Fairport, NY, Fairport) finished with 16 assists.
Kazondra Ramos (Commerce, CA, El Rancho) led the squad with 12 digs with Thompson adding nine digs.
Earlham (2-11, 0-1) plays in a non-conference tri-match at Wilmington College on Friday. The Quakers face Central State University (0-6) at 5:30 p.m. Earlham meets Wilmington (7-8) at 7 p.m.
