Box Score RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College volleyball squad fell 25-19, 25-18, 20-25, 25-20 to Defiance College on Wednesday night in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference match.

Andrea Thompson (McCordsville, IN, Muncie Burris) led Earlham with 15 kills against the Yellow Jackets (11-7, 2-0) on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.

Jazmyn Corlew (Elyria, OH, Elyria) added nine kills and 12 digs with a team-high three blocks.

Ashlee Heberger (Fairport, NY, Fairport) led the Quakers with 26 assists, while Meg Huffmeyer (Osgood, Indiana, Jac-Cen-Del) topped the squad with 15 digs.

Earlham (3-13, 0-2) faces the College of Wooster at home on Friday in a non-conference contest beginning at 6 p.m.
