RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College men's basketball team dropped a 90-61 decision Saturday afternoon to Hanover College on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.
Colton Bragg (Richmond, IN, Richmond) led the Quakers with 19 points, while grabbing six rebounds in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference affair.
Dustin Rusk (Frankfort, IN, Clinton Prairie) had 12 points and
Marcus Bledsoe (Indianapolis, IN, Ritter) added eight points.
Ryan Taylor (Martinsville, IN, Martinsville) finished with six points and a team-high three assists.
Eric Messer (Indianapolis, IN, International) scored six points and
Justin Barger (Ellettsville, IN, Edgewood) pulled down six rebounds.
Earlham had an early 3-2 lead after Rusk drilled a 3-pointer at the 17:24 mark of the opening period.
Hanover (10-4, 6-2) went on a 10-0 run to go on top 12-3 with 15:32 on the clock.
The Quakers were able to fight back and pull to within 19-14 after Taylor hit a 3-pointer with 11:33 remaining in the first half.
By intermission, the Panthers were able to build a 38-26 lead and they maintained their advantage the rest of the way.
The Quakers (0-15, 0-8) visit Defiance College on Wednesday for a HCAC game starting at 7:30 p.m.
