RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College volleyball team celebrated Homecoming Weekend with a 25-22, 25-14, 25-14 victory on Saturday over Central State University.
Meg Huffmeyer (Osgood, IN, Jac-Cen-Del) led the Quakers with 11 kills in the non-conference affair against the Mauraders (0-11) on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.
Heather Hayden (St. Paul, IN, North Decatur) added six kills, while
Ashlee Heberger (Fairport, NY, Fairport) and
Ashley Hedrick (Rushville, IN, Rushville) contributed five kills each.
Heberger led the Quakers with 21 assists to go along with her five service aces.
Kazondra Ramos (Commerce, CA, El Rancho) topped the Quakers with seven service aces and nine digs.
Earlham (6-17) returns to action on Wednesday as the Quakers visit the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest begins at 7 p.m.
