RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College volleyball team faced non-conference foe Wilmington College on Friday night and dropped a 25-16, 26-24, 21-25, 25-9 decision on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.

Meg Huffmeyer (Osgood, IN, Jac-Cen-Del) and Heather Hayden (St. Paul, IN, North Decatur) led the Quakers with 10 kills each. Eunice Onyekweli (Laurel, MD, Barrie School) and Ashley Hedrick (Rushville, IN, Rushville) added seven kills apiece.

Ashlee Heberger (Fairport, NY, Fairport) had 33 assists for Earlham, while Kazondra Ramos (Commerce, CA, El Rancho) led the squad with 16 digs.

Ramos and Keely Skehan (San Francisco, CA, Drew) each had five aces.

The Quakers (5-13) return to action at Transylvania University on Saturday. The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest gets underway at 5 p.m.
