Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 DELAWARE, Ohio — The Earlham College volleyball squad opened the season at the Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational on Friday.

The Quakers begin the day with a 22-25, 22-25, 25-21, 25-14, 15-12 win over Wilmington College.

In the second contest, Ohio Wesleyan defeated Earlham 25-23, 25-13, 25-8.

Jazmyn Corlew (Elyria, OH, Elyria) led the Quakers with 18 kills against Wilmington, while Meg Huffmeyer (Osgood, IN, Jac-Cen-Del) added 15 kills. Ashlee Heberger (Fairport, NY, Fairport) had 44 assists and four aces. Kazondra Ramos (Commerce, CA, El Rancho) led the way with 17 digs.

Against Ohio Wesleyan, Ashley Hedrick (Rushville, IN, Rushville) led the Quakers with six kills. Corlew added five kills as she led the team with 12 digs and a pair of blocks. Heberger finished with 14 assists.   

Earlham (1-1) faces Denison University on Saturday at 10 a.m. The Quakers end the tournament with a match at noon against Grove City College.
