RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College volleyball team had its three-match winning streak snapped on Thursday night as the Quakers faced Franklin College.
The Grizzlies (5-6) posted a 25-16, 25-19, 25-13 win in a non-conference affair on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center. The two teams are scheduled to meet in Franklin for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference match on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
Jazmyn Corlew (Elyria, OH, Elyria) led the Quakers with seven kills and 13 digs, while
Heather Hayden (St. Paul, IN, North Decatur) added five kills.
Ashlee Heberger (Fairport, NY, Fairport) had 25 assists for Earlham with
Keely Skehan (San Francisco, CA, Drew) contributing 10 digs.
Kazondra Ramos (Commerce, CA, El Rancho) finished with nine digs.
Earlham (5-6) opens play in the HCAC at home on Wednesday against Hanover College. The match gets underway at 7 p.m.
