Second Half Goals Hurt Quakers

Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — After a scoreless first half, the Earlham College men's soccer team dropped a non-conference match 3-0 at Wittenberg University.

The Tigers (5-3-2) scored their first goal at 45:16 early in the second period with the others coming at 76:17 and 81:10.

Wittenberg led 13-7 in shots, while the Quakers had a 4-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Earlham goalkeeper Chris Marshall (Highland Park, NJ , Highland Park HS) had three saves for the Quakers.

The Quakers (2-7) begin play in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference on Saturday at Franklin College. The match is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
