Abigail McCullough put the Quakers in front at the 30:37 mark of the opening period with an assist from Betty Alemu.

The Spartans (8-6-1, 4-1) tied the match at 49:13 before scoring the game-winner at 61:27.

Earlham goalkeeper Annie Frodeman had three saves for the Quakers. Manchester led 13-5 in shots and 5-3 in corner kicks.

The Quakers (1-9-2, 0-4-1) face Transylvania University at home on Wednesday. The HCAC affair on Matlack Field begins at 4 p.m.
