CINCINNATI, Ohio â€" The Earlham College women's soccer team closed out the season on Saturday with a 2-0 victory over the College of Mount St. Joseph.
A pair of quick goals in the second half made the difference for the Quakers in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference affair with the Lions (4-14-1, 3-6).
Cherrah Barclay scored her team-high seventh goal of the season at 61:43 to give the Quakers a 1-0 advantage.
Moments later, Annie Frodeman scored for the fifth time this season with an assist from Abigail McCullough at 63:40.
Earlham goalkeeper A.J. Johnson had two saves for the Quakers, who led 14-7 in shots and 8-4 in corner kicks.
Saturday was the final time that Frodeman and her senior classmates, Christine Page, Claire Murphy and Elizabeth Richards would be in uniform for the Quakers.
The Quakers end the fall at 3-11-2 overall and 2-6-1 in the HCAC.
