Women's Soccer - 1990 Season

Box Score In 1990, coach Amy Freeman was with the Quakers for her second year.  Earlham played 16 matches, finishing with a record of 2-14 overall and 1-7 in the NCAC. Their two wins came against Otterbein and Case Western Reserve.
 
Members of the team from the '90 season were Jessica Berliner, Asha Confer, Schuylar Dawson, Mary Doolittle, Amy Dowell, Leila Eastman, Diane Erb, Amy Hunter, Sonia Johansen, Kristen Keiffer, Fintje Lehman, Jen Luck, Sarah Martin, Carrie Masiello, Kerry McAuley, Amy Napier, Kate O'Shea, Betsy Ray, Jessica Rettig, Betsy Shaw, Elizabeth Smith, Emily Smith, Joy Staudt, Laura Tyler, and Emily Young.
 
The leading scorer was Amy Hunter with 3 goals for the season. She was also named the team's Most Valuable Player. The Most Improved Player was named Fintje Lehman. 
 
In 1990, the team also had members recognized in the conference for the first time. All-NCAC Third Team awards went to Sonia Johansen, Betsy Ray, Amy Hunter, and Betsy Shaw.  Also, Fintje Lehman and Leila Eastman received conference Honorable Mention awards.
