Box Score RICHMOND, Ind. â€" A pair of quick goals at the start of Wednesday's match was all the Earlham men's soccer team would need to beat Wittenberg University 2-0.

Jacob Ebbs made the Matlack Field crowd happy with Earlham's first score at 2:23 with an assist from Felicien Muyumba.

Moments later, Muyumba had an unassisted goal at 5:58 to put the Quakers up by two scores over the Tigers (4-5).

The Quakers had a 14-13 edge in shots, while Wittenberg held a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Earlham goalkeeper Sam Embry had seven saves for the Quakers.

Next up for the Quakers is a road trip to Otterbein University on Saturday. The non-conference affair gets underway at 2 p.m.
