GRANVILLE, Ohio â€" The Earlham College volleyball team dropped a pair of matches at Denison University on Saturday.
In the first contest, Hiram College defeated the Quakers 25-10, 25-19, 25-12. Denison took care of Earlham in the next affair 30-28, 25-14, 22-25, 25-13.
Mikah Sizemore led the Quakers with five kills in the Hiram (12-5) match. Emily Lim and Jolene Wells added four kills each. Alexus Bex and Lim finished with seven digs apiece.
Against Denison (12-5), Lim led the way with 14 kills. Rinako Nakamura had eight kills, while Sizemore added seven.
Ashley Hedrick had 21 assists and Morgan Thompson had 12 assists.
Kazondra Ramos led Earlham with 17 digs. Heather Hayden finished with six blocks.
The Quakers (3-15) face Franklin College on Wednesday. The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference match on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center gets underway at 7 p.m.
