Box Score RICHMOND, Ind. â€" A goal in the second half proved to be the difference on Saturday as the Earlham College women's soccer team defeated Mount St. Joseph University 1-0 on Matlack Field.

Molly Altreuter scored at the 51:06 mark of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference match with assists from Micaela Bush and Kelly Mayhew to give the Quakers the lead over the Lions (4-9, 1-3).

Earlham had a 15-7 advantage in shots, while the Lions led 6-2 in corner kicks.

Earlham goalkeeper Ashley (A.J.) Johnson had four saves for the Quakers.

The Quakers (5-8-1, 2-3) visit the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Wednesday. The conference match is set for 5:30 p.m.
