Ebbs Leads Quakers to Road Victory

Box Score TERRE HAUTE, Ind. â€" Jacob Ebbs scored a pair of goals on Wednesday night to lead the Earlham College men's soccer team to 2-1 overtime win over the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Ebbs scored at 91:57 to give the Quakers the victory over the Engineers (9-4-3, 4-1-1), who were alone atop the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference standings entering the evening.

Earlham led 1-0 when Ebbs had an unassisted goal at 28:53. Rose-Hulman tied the contest with a score at 38:59 to make it 1-1 at the intermission.

Rose-Hulman led 13-6 in shots and 3-0 in corner kicks.

Earlham goalkeeper Aaron Falsetto had a pair of saves for the Quakers.

The Quakers (2-10-2, 2-3-1) face Manchester University during a Homecoming match on Saturday. The HCAC contest on Matlack Field gets underway at 1 p.m.
