The Panthers (8-3, 2-0) scored three times in the opening period of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Matlack Field.

Cherrah Barclay led the Quakers with two shots, while Jordan Kartman and Micaela Bush each had one.

Earlham goalkeeper Ashley (A.J.) Johnson had 13 saves for the Quakers. Olivia Wallace also had a save for the Quakers.

The Quakers (3-7-1, 0-2) visit Bluffton University on Saturday. The HCAC affair gets underway at 1 p.m.
