Box Score DELAWARE, Ohio â€" The Earlham College volleyball team started its season on Friday at the Bishop Invitational at Ohio Wesleyan University.

The Quakers opened the event with a 25-21, 25-14, 24-26, 25-12 loss to Grove City College.

Jolene Wells led the Quakers with 14 kills, while Kayle Morris finished with eight. Emily Lim added seven kills.

Ashley Hedrick had 20 assists and a team-high four service aces. Lim had 11 assists.

Morris topped the squad with 13 digs with Alexus Bex contributing 11. Wells had 10 digs.

The Quakers (0-1) play the host Bishops on Saturday at 9 a.m. They finish the invitational with Wilmington College at 11 a.m.
