Quakers Win Second Straight

Box Score RICHMOND, Ind. â€" Two scores in the first half proved to be all the Earlham College women's soccer team would need on Saturday as the Quakers defeated Brescia University 2-0 on Matlack Field.

Molly Altreuter scored the initial goal of the contest at 14:16 with an assist from Cherrah Barclay.

Barclay then added her third score of the season at 24:35 with help from Kelly Mayhew to give the Quakers their advantage over the Bearcats (0-3).

The Quakers led 13-6 in shots and 2-0 in corner kicks.

In her first game in goal for the Quakers, Olivia Wallace had five saves.

Earlham (2-0) plays its first road contest of the season next Saturday as the Quakers visit Illinois Wesleyan University. The match starts at 2 p.m.
