EC Falls at Wilmington

Box Score WILMINGTON, Ohio â€" The Earlham College men's soccer team opened play on Friday night in the Kiwanis Classic hosted by Wilmington College.

In a battle of Quakers, Wilmington defeated Earlham 5-2.

Wilmington (4-2) scored twice in the first half to take control of the contest.

In the second half, Cole Davis-Roberts cut Earlham's deficit in half with his first goal of the season at 58:20.

Wilmington was able to answer with two more goals before Earlham found the back of the net again.

Nicholas Dey picked up his initial score of the fall at 79:33 with an assist from Masaki Nakamura. Wilmington ended the scoring at the 86:40 mark.

Aaron Falsetto, who played most of the contest in goal for Earlham, had seven saves.

Earlham (0-5-1) finishes the two-day event on Saturday against Wittenberg University at 5 p.m.
