Quakers Split Matches in Chicago

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CHICAGO, Ill. â€" The Earlham College volleyball team split a pair of contests on Saturday in a tri-match at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

The Quakers fell to Trine University 25-16, 25-10, 25-20 before bouncing back to post a 25-18, 18-25, 26-24, 25-22 win over Illinois Tech.

Kayla Morris led the Quakers with nine kills and 13 digs against Trine (12-2).

Emily Lim added six kills and 11 digs, while Ashley Hedrick had 15 assists.

Against Illinois Tech (7-10), Morris had team-high totals of 20 kills, four aces and 14 digs.

Jolene Wells finished with nine kills. Lim had eight kills with 12 assists. Hdrick had 29 assists.

The Quakers (4-14) entertain Bluffton University on Wednesday. The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference match starts at 7 p.m.
