Box Score LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Earlham College men's basketball team fell 77-64 at Transylvania University on Wednesday night.
Elijah Wilson-Thomas led the Quakers with 20 points in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference game. He also finished with five rebounds and three assists.
Lajay Kelly tossed in 13 points, while Taylen Alexander added eight points and team-high totals with 10 rebounds and four assists.
Kyle Smith contributed seven points.
The Quakers held several leads early in the contest and they were on top 15-11 after Wilson-Thomas hit a 3-pointer at the 12:48 mark.
The Pioneers (5-8, 2-4) were able to tie the game at 17-17 with 11:15 remaining in the first half.
By halftime, Transylvania led 32-29. The Pioneers scored the first 10 points of the second period to build a 42-29 advantage that they were able to maintain the rest of the way.
Earlham (0-14, 0-7) travels to Anderson University on Saturday. The HCAC affair gets underway at 3 p.m.
