EC Falls to Ravens

ANDERSON, Ind. — The Earlham College men's basketball had three players in double figures on Saturday as the Quakers dropped a 94-74 decision to Anderson University.

Taylen Alexander led the Quakers with a season-high 18 points to go with nine rebounds in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference affair against the Ravens (7-8, 6-2).

Elijah Wilson-Thomas tossed in 17 points with four rebounds. Joe Adams finished with 12 points and seven rebounds.

Kamari Hunter had eight points and three assists, while Darius Meiman added seven points.

The Ravens began the contest with the first 12 points and built a 53-27 advantage by halftime.

After the intermission, the Quakers were able to cut into Anderson's lead as they trailed by nine points twice.

The last time came at 7:00 when Hunter hit a pair of free throws to make it 77-68. The Quakers (0-15, 0-8) visit Defiance College on Wednesday. The HCAC game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
