Women's Soccer Falls at Hanover

HANOVER, Ind. - Defending conference champions Hanover scored two goals in the first six minutes en route to a 7-0 victory over the Earlham College women's soccer team in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) play on Wednesday.

The Panthers (7-4-0, 2-0-0 HCAC) scored another goal to take a 3-0 lead into halftime.

Junior Michaela Bush and sophomore Isabela Lopez took the two Earlham shots in the contest.

Senior goalkeeper Ashley (A.J.) Johnson made 12 saves in just under 70 minutes of play in net. Freshman Maritza Santon finished the game, making one save in the final 20 minutes.

Earlham returns home on Saturday for a 1 p.m. game against HCAC foe Bluffton.
