RICHMOND, Ind. - The Earlham College men's soccer team took a 2-0 loss to Anderson University at Matlack Field during the Saturday homecoming game.

In the first half, Jacob Pokorski made the first goal for the Ravens 24 minutes in with an assist from Cory Barker. Midway through the second half, Pokorski found the back of the net again for Anderson at the 65:19 mark during the second half to put the game out of reach.

Earlham outshot Anderson at a 19-7 advantage, but could not break through for a goal as Ravens' goalkeeper Brandon Weer made nine saves. The Quakers' defense held Anderson to just two shots on goal. Unfortunately, both found the back of the net.

The Quakers will attempt to stop a four-game skid at defending Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) champion Hanover College on Wednesday, Oct. 19. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
