RICHMOND, Ind. – Freshman goalkeeper Sari Stissi made 11 saves as the Earlham College women's soccer team fell 3-0 to Mount St. Joseph University (MSJ) 3-0 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) action at Matlack Field on Saturday afternoon.

The Lions fired 30 shots in the game with 14 of them on net. Stissi and the Quakers' defense held one of the top scoring teams in the HCAC scoreless through the first 32 minutes until April Zeigler and Stefanie Autenreib scored goals for the Mount in a three minute span.

Leading 2-0 at halftime, the Lions (7-4-1), who remained perfect in the HCAC with the win, put the game out of reach as Kaylan Gruber scored in the 52nd minute.

Junior Kelsey Moore and freshman Emma Lady each took one shot for Earlham.

The Quakers continue their four-game home stand by hosting Defiance College at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12.
