Box Score RICHMOND, Ind. – Wabash College finished 12-16 from beyond the three-point arc en route to a 101-63 victory over the Earlham College men's basketball team on Friday evening.
The Little Giants, who came into the game shooting under 32 percent from distance, hit 11-13 triples in the first half and led 54-21 at the break. The Quakers came out pressing in the second half and cut the deficit to 27 points with 12:34 to play, but could get no closer.
Junior Isaiah Waire and junior Elijah Wilson-Thomas led Earlham in scoring with nine points each. Freshman Kenneth Stalling Jr. added five points and seven rebounds off of the bench.
Colten Garland (24 points), Harrison Hallstrom (20 points), and Ben Stachowski (20 points) combined for 62 points and 10-14 from three-point range to lead the Little Giants to victory.
Wabash finished 61.5 percent from the field while Earlham made 19-59 shots for 32.2 percent. The Little Giants grabbed 41 rebounds compared to 30 for the Quakers.
Earlham dips to 5-6 on the season and returns to Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) play at Transylvania University on Wednesday, Jan. 4.
