Stissi Has Career Day in Women's Soccer Loss at Wooster

WOOSTER, Ohio – The Earlham College women's soccer team rounded out its season-opening three-game road trip with a 2-0 loss at the College of Wooster on Sunday afternoon.

The Fighting Scots (2-3) scored the game's first goal with under three minutes to play in the first half as Krenare Rakoci headed a cross past Earlham net minder, freshman Sari Stissi. Wooster would score a second goal midway through the second half.

Wooster took 44 shots in the contest along with 22 on net. Stissi kept the game close, making a career-high 20 saves in the game.

Freshman Emma Lady took Earlham's lone shot of the afternoon.

Earlham will finally get a chance to play at home on Wednesday, Sept. 14, when Wilmington College comes to Matlack Field for a 5 p.m. contest.
