Box Score CINCINNATI, Ohio – Mount St. Joseph charted a season-best .636 shooting percentage and connected on better than 90 percent of its foul shots, a performance that proved insurmountable for visiting Earlham College men's basketball as the Quakers fell to the Lions, 85-59, on Saturday afternoon at the Harrington Center.

THE SHORT STORY
In the opening half, Mount St. Joseph shot 66.7 percent (16-of-24) from the floor, while Earlham answered with a 10-of-28 (.357) shooting performance. A 12-0 run for the Lions lasting the final five minutes of the first half helped Mount St. Joseph reach the intermission with a 46-24 lead.
That lead was too much for the Quakers to overcome in the second half, as the Lions' hot shooting continued unabated. Mount St. Joseph finished the game with a 28-of-44 ledger from the floor, and were 25-of-32 (.781) at the line.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
Chainey Zolman led the Quakers with 14 points on a 6-of-11 effort from the floor, while Kenneth Stalling Jr. tacked on nine points. Blake Bonin chipped in with six points, and reserves Elijah Galloway and Jason Slain gave Earlham some good minutes off the bench and finished with six points each.
The Quakers shot .357 from floor, connecting on just 10 of their 28 field goal attempts – Earlham's worst shooting performance of the season thus far.
Earlham was outrebounded, 34-19, the fewest total rebounds for the Quakers in a game this season. The Quakers did finish with 10 steals to the Lions' seven, with nine different players recording at least one theft. The Maroon and White did force MSJ into committing 14 turnovers, while only making nine.
