Manar returns to Earlham as Head Women's Lacrosse Coach

RICHMOND -- The Earlham College athletic department announced on Thursday that 2020 graduate Yousra Manar has been hired as head women's lacrosse coach.

Manar comes to Earlham after coaching at Corona Del Sol High School and State 48 Lacrosse Club in Arizona, where she served as head coach and assistant coach. She has also been pursuing a Masters Degree in Sports Law and Business at Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.

Manar was a 3-year member of the Earlham women's lacrosse squad and was an original member when the team was reinstated in 2017. She played in 36 games, making 31 starts in the defense.

Manar racked up awards while she was a member of the Earlham lacrosse squad. In addition to helping the Quakers to an HCLC tournament semifinal in 2019, she was selected as Earlham Female Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2020. She also earned academic all-conference honors three times in her career.

A native of Rabat, Morocco, Manar graduated from Earlham in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Management.
