LOUISVILLE, Kentucky – Junior
Shianna Bellingham paced the Earlham College women's cross country team with a ninth-place finish at Sunday's Spring 2021 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Championship held at Tom Sawyer State Park.
Bellingham completed the 6K course in 24:49.62, and her ninth-place finish earned her All-HCAC honors.
Sophomore
Elena Stirn crossed the line 24th overall with a time of 26:31.15. Jilliam Schlieper and Acacia Tenette finished 45th and 46th respectively with times of 28:58.38 and 29:04.78. Kinzi Brooks was 55th with a time of 29:55.81.
As a team, Earlham was seventh out of the seven squads that qualified for a team score with 150 points.
Hanover won the HCAC championship with 39 points, well ahead of second-place Rose-Hulman with 62 points. The Panthers had three runners among the top 10 finishers, including individual champion Arig Tong who won with a time of 23:16.82.
