SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The Earlham College women's cross country team competed at the Wittenberg Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 11.
Greta Shaffer led the Quakers with a time of 27:26.6 on the 6K course to finish 62nd at the Clark County Fairgrounds.
Earlham's other top five runners were Lily Schamel (28:05.8, 73rd), Elen Stirn (28:19.8, 78th), Jillian Schlieper (30:22.5, 98th) and Kinzi Brooks (30:41.6, 100th).
DePauw University won the meet as the Quakers were 11th. Alyssa Laughner of Baldwin-Wallace University won the race in 23:14.5.
The next meet for the Quakers is the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic in Louisville on Saturday, Oct. 2.
