RICHMOND, Indiana – Earlham College men's lacrosse wrapped up its 2021 regular season home slate on Saturday at Darrell Beane Stadium with a 24-3 loss to the visiting Transylvania University Pioneers.
Transylvania posted a 7-0 lead through the opening quarter and extended its lead to 13-0 before Earlham got on the scoreboard in the second stanza.
Josh Wilson notched his first goal of the season on an EMO score with 4:53 remaining in the half, off a pass from
Logan Reihing.
Reihing struck again for the Quakers just 35 seconds into the third quarter, off a pass from Wilson, putting the score at 17-2. After four more Pioneer goals, Reihing recorded his second of the afternoon with 11:39 remaining in the game.
Bryce Lowe led Transylvania with five goals and three assists for eight points, while Andrew Hamill tallied four goals. Ethan Patton and Connor Davis each had hat tricks for the Pioneers.

Steven Shaughnessy charted 13 saves on 61 total shots from Transylvania, while the Quakers finished the game with 12 shots. The Pioneers had 48 ground balls to the Quakers' eight, and the Earlham was 14-of-27 in clearing opportunities.
Earlham men's lacrosse closes out its regular season on Wednesday, April 28, when it travels to Cincinnati, Ohio, to face Mount St. Joseph. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m.
