"We've been working a lot on transition and recognizing situations and forward movement. Today it all came together and our forward did a great job converting," said
Stephanie Webb, Earlham's head women's soccer coach.
Earlham keeper
Maria Young finished with six saves in the win. Bluffton outshot Earlham, 16-5, and the Beavers had six corner kick opportunities to the Quakers' two.
With the victory, Earlham finishes its Spring 2021 season with a 2-6-1 mark.
"I was really proud of the whole team and their efforts today," said Webb. "We asked them to show our identity and I thought they did that. We've had to deal with a lot of challenges and adversity this season and I asked them to show everyone that we won't back down. They did that today."
