TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Earlham College men's soccer team continued its Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference schedule with a 5-0 loss at Rose-Hulman on Saturday afternoon.
The Quakers fell to 4-7-1 (1-3 HCAC) while the Engineers improved to 8-1-2 (4-0 HCAC).
Rose Hulman scored its first goal in the 20th minute of play, and led 3-0 at the halftime break.
Earlham was outshot 22-1 on the afternoon, and trailed 9-1 in corner kicks.
Tyler Smith collected two saves in the opening half of play, with
Duncan Jordahl taking over in the net for the second half with two saves.
Earlham will continue its season on Wednesday at Bluffton University. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 pm.
