TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Earlham College women's soccer team fell to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology 7-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Quakers fell to 3-5-2 (1-3 HCAC) while the Engineers improved to 6-2-3 (3-0-1).
Rose-Hulman scored its first goal of the contest in the seventh minute of play, and the Engineers led 6-0 at halftime.
Earlham was outshot 29-2, and trailed in corner kicks 13-1.
Eva Lyon recorded the only shot on goal for the Quakers with a low attempt in the 38th minute.
Makayla Hurey collected 10 saves in goal.
The Quakers will be back in action at home on Wednesday against Bluffton University. Kickoff is slated for 3:30pm in Matlack-Messer Stadium.
