CARMEL – This week, the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the Tom Bohlsen Fall Academic Team. To qualify, student athletes must be in their second year, and have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
This fall, 31 athletes representing five sports at Earlham College qualified for the recognition.
Men's soccer led the Quakers with nine honorees from the squad. Volleyball followed with seven athletes while cross country and women's soccer both landed six on the list.
The men's soccer team is represented by seniors

Patrick Elster, Thato T'solo, and
Yuto Yamada.
Quentin Berry represents the junior class, and sophomores
Devin Fitzgibbon,
Braden Guinn,
Duncan Jordahl,
Nathan Lefkowitz.
Honorees from volleyball include graduate student
Sydney Fuller, and senior
Kaitlin Hicks. Representing the junior class is
Maria Young and
Liv Kyrk. Sophomores
Akiko Tajima,
Meg Kobman, and
Katie Conner earned the recognition.
From women's soccer seniors

Eva Lyon, and
Mollie Lyon placed on the team, along with sophomores
Quinn Doden and
Makayla Hurey.
Cross country is represented by seniors

Alex Roberts. Juniors

Connor Del Carmen.
Women's tennis also placed three athletes on the academic list in its first season back on campus. Senior
Gloria Aligbe is joined by sophomores
Faith Silver and
Saki Takizawa in recognition.
