HANOVER, Ind. – The Earlham College men's lacrosse team fell to Hanover College 17-1 in Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference competition.
The Quakers fell to 2-9 while the Panthers improved to 7-4.
Kevin Ventura scored the lone Earlham goal of the contest with 8:25 remaining in the fourth quarter.
Donovan Shea led the defense with five ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Emmitt Shaughnessy made nine saves in goal.
The Quakers were outshot 45-18 and fell 39-12 in ground balls. The Panthers won 14 faceoffs with seven going to Earlham.
Next up for the Quakers will be back-to-back games with Anderson University. The first will take place on Wednesday in Darrell Beane Stadium with a 4 pm start time.
