ANDERSON, Ind. – The Earlham College men's lacrosse team began its Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference slate with a 13-4 loss at Anderson University on Saturday.
The Quakers fell to 2-11 (0-1 HCLC) while the Ravens improved to 7-5 (1-0 HCLC).
Logan Reihing led the Quakers on offense with two goals from five shots.
Donovan Shea and
Elijah Gamber also netted one goal each on the afternoon.
Benjamin Adkins led the defense with two caused turnovers and Shea picked up 10 ground balls.
Emmitt Shaughnessy made 20 saves in goal.
Earlham was outshot 64-19 and lost faceoffs 13-7.
The next match for the Quakers will come on Wednesday against Hanover College in Darrell Beane Stadium. Reihing and
Kevin Ventura will be honored before the game as part of Senior Day festivities.
