ANDERSON, Ind. – The Earlham College women's tennis team continued its 2022-23 season at Anderson University on Wednesday evening. The Quakers fell to the Ravens 8-1 in the contest.
Maddie Cherry recorded her second win of the season in No. 1 Singles 6-4 and 6-0.
In doubles, Cherry partnered with
Gabby Johns in an 8-4 loss.
"Madisen played her best tennis today, making three unforced errors in the second set." Said head coach
Todd Tucker after the match. "The whole culture is changing everyday, the team is bonding more and more everyday."
The Quakers will be back in action on Saturday at Transylvania University. The match with the Pioneers is slated for 12 pm in Lexington, Ky.
