LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Earlham College women's tennis team continued its Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference slate at Transylvania University on Saturday afternoon.
The Quakers fell 9-0 to the Pioneers.
Maddie Cherry brought the No. 1 single for Transy to a 7-6 game in their first set of action, but fell 6-0 in the next set.
Gabby Johns scored three points in both of her matches at No. 4 singles on the day.

Todd Tucker. "Gabby played her best tennis of the year, and Maddie had a very tight first set with one of the best players in the conference before bowing out. We'll get back to work on Monday."
Earlham continues its season on Saturday at Manchester University. Competition is set to begin at 9 am.
